Three Little Pigs

These three little pigs sit in State College close to an alley. One little pig got stolen a few years ago, and whoever it was decided to bring it back. The people were really upset about it.
If you want to read about them, go here: http://www.collegian.psu.edu/archive/2002/09/09-27-02tdc/09-27-02darts-07.asp

A Fine Tea Party

My grandson having a tea party with Shrek, Donkey, Puss-n-Boots and a bunny he got from Easter. The Easter Bunny brought him a tea set and he loves putting ice tea in it and serving everyone tea. A fine tea party. We put snacks with it too.

ABC Wednesday - Letter "J" = Jim's

Jim's Italian restaurant sits in an alley in Bellefonte. They keep busy though. Somewhat of a hidden secret for the locals. They make good food. I love their chef salad and garlic bread and my husband usually goes for the Ravoli.

Walking With Dinosaurs

Have you seen this show "Walking with dinosaurs"? I would have gotten tickets but my grandson didn't want to go. Maybe next time, if there is one. I heard it's wonderful. It takes at least a hundred or more people to put on this show. They are behind the scenes moving the real life sized dinosaurs around. I think they are putting on this show for the weekend at different times. This photo is on their 18 wheeler truck.
To read more about this show, visit here:

Oh by the way, so much for the 1-2" of snow we were suppose to get. We got 5" of snow!

Shoes on a Wire

Alot of kids (I guess I shouldn't say kids, because these are probably done by young adults in their early 20's. I assume mostly college students.)throw shoes on the electrical wires to see if they can get them up there. I am guessing that's why they'd do this. These shoes are in State College around the university area. I've seen several streets with shoes hanging on the lines. (State College is only about a 15-20 minute drive from Bellefonte). Anyone need a used pair of shoes? If you double click to enlarge you can view them closer. Some of them don't look that used.

Tucker Relaxing

My dog relaxing on the couch. I know, he needs to lose a little weight. Hopefully, now that it maybe starting to get a little nicer outside, we will be going for more walks. He looks a little bigger the way he's sitting than he really is.

A Dog Walk

Someone taking the dog for a walk at one of the parks.

Update on my mom: She is home from surgery after they unblocked an artery in her neck, and doing well except for some major soreness. If she wouldn't have had it done they said it would have caused a stroke. Now, they want to do more heart surgery to unblock another artery in her heart. If you remember my mom awhile back had a major heart attack. When they took her to the hospital they put a stint in one blockage, unblocked an easier one, but couldn't do the other blockage. That's the one they now want to do. My mom says she doesn't want anymore surgery for awhile. Not sure how long she can wait, but I'm sure her doctor will let us know.

Pure Imagination Toy Store

This is a toy store called; "Pure Imagination" in Bellefonte. They have some wonderful stuff you can't find anywhere else in here. You wouldn't believe some of the board games, castles and things you can find here. Really neat stuff. This may have been the first time I went in the other day, but it won't be my last. I bought a board game for my grandson for Easter. It has a changing board. Never seen one like it before. I highly recommend visiting here if you are tired of the same old, same old.

Here's another side view of the tank from yesterday and the wheels upclose.

I couldn't think of anything at the moment for the letter "G" with this photo as I didn't take a photo of a specific "G" letter, so I will use "ground" is my letter "G". I know I will work on this next week.

Verizon

I was going to save this photo for ABC Wed. but I seem to be running out of pictures. It's too cold for anyone to be standing outside to use this Verizon telephone. At least when they used to have booths you could get out of the wind, now you have to stand out in the cold.

Theme Day -Graffiti or street mural

This mural is along the water way at the park in Huntingdon.

Sorry I forgot all about theme today. Well, mines a little late but here it is. I took this photo about three weeks ago in Huntingdon. An hour drive from Bellefonte. I had intentions of going down town to get one, but totally forgot. Been busy doing other projects. Sorry.
